Written medical clearance is required prior to any head spa or scalp-based service for clients with neurological conditions, including brain shunts, seizures, aneurysms, stroke, traumatic brain injury, or prior brain or neck surgery. Clearance is also required for any condition affected by pressure, heat, steam, water exposure, or head positioning.
Clients without appropriate medical clearance will be unable to receive head spa services.
